As an Independent candidate for President of the United States, I am singularly focused on stopping Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs). Digital money monitored, censored, and controlled by the government is the single biggest threat to human liberty and is the gateway to social credit scores, digital IDs, and vaccine passports. The technology for CBDCs has already been developed by the Federal Reserve in conjunction with MIT and other groups. President Biden has passed an Executive Order authorizing the exploration of the CBDC. Just as with the Patriot Act, TARP, and CARES Act, a CBDC could be passed by Congress under emergency conditions in a very short period of time (days not months or years).

The Sound Money Pledge

As an advocate for economic freedom and a resilient financial system, I hereby pledge my commitment to the promotion and personal use of self-custodied cryptocurrencies, gold, and silver, as practical alternatives to Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) and the US dollar. This pledge symbolizes my stand against the risks posed by CBDCs to privacy, liberty, and decentralized financial principles.

As a member of Congress, political candidate, or conscientious citizen, I commit to:

  1. Personal Adoption: Actively use self-custodied cryptocurrencies, gold, and silver for my day-to-day commerce, demonstrating my trust in and commitment to these alternative forms of currency.
  2. Opposing CBDC Development: Vigorously oppose any legislative, executive, or financial institution initiatives that promote or implement CBDCs.
  3. Educating and Advocating: Spread awareness about the importance of financial diversity and educate others on the benefits and utility of using alternative currencies in everyday transactions.
  4. Supporting Community Efforts: Engage in and support grassroots movements that champion financial sovereignty and challenge the centralization of monetary systems.

By signing this pledge, I not only advocate for a diverse monetary system but also lead by example, integrating sound money principles into my own financial practices. This commitment is a step towards ensuring a future where financial liberty and security are accessible to all Americans.
